COVID-19

We’re excited to be meeting in-person, but want to make sure we’re doing so wisely and safely. If you plan to attend one of our Sunday gatherings in person, here’s what you can expect.

What WE are doing to keep YOU safe

  • All high-touch surfaces such as doors, light switches, water fountains, and restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected daily.
  • Hand sanitizer is provided.
  • Face masks available upon request.
  • No passing of common items such as offering plates, communion elements, bulletins, handouts, etc.
  • Seating in the Fellowship Hall has been re-arranged to allow for greater distancing between parties.
  • Greeting time has been suspended.
  • Digital bulletin available.
  • Coffee service has been suspended.
  • We are committed to following CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines for contact tracing.

What YOU can do to keep EVERYONE safe

  • Stay home if you’re feeling sick or running a fever.
  • Wear a mask while you’re in the building. If you don’t have one, we’ve got you covered. Stop by The Hub in the chapel lobby or atrium.
  • Practice social distancing of at least 6 feet apart while in the building.
  • Avoid physical contact with others (hugs, handshakes, high fives, etc.).
  • Sit with your household and allow distance between parties.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By visiting Hanover First Church of God, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
