Worship Services

The Hanover First Church of God (HFCOG) currently offers four worship services every Sunday morning.

We offer two traditional worship services, one at 8AM and one at 11AM in the chapel. These services utilize both familiar hymns as well as more recent songs and choruses. The organ and piano provide the basic accompaniment, but from time to time wood winds, brass, and other instruments may also be used.

We also offer a “contemporary” service at 930AM which meets in the Fellowship Hall. This service features a more informal atmosphere with newer praise songs and choruses led by a worship team. The team uses guitars, keyboards, bass, and drums for the accompaniment and several vocalists. If you are looking for a service where the music is definitely upbeat you might want to give this service a try.

We also offer another 11 AM  morning worship service we call "The Gathering" which is designed with the young and young at heart in mind. This service is held in the Fellowship Hall. Although not a "youth service" the format and style of this service definitely has those under 30 years of age as the primary participants.
